Theatre as a tool for empathic understanding



Hjalmar Jorge Joffre-Eichhorn, an international expert engaged by the United Nations, who is piloting the idea in the Maldives. It aims to create a space whereby ordinary people from the local communities can find a platform to discuss the social and political issues prevalent in society and together find ways to address them.


흐잘마 조지 조퍼 익촌은 UN에서 추천한 국제적인 전문가이며, 몰디브에서 일하고 있다. 

지역공동체로의 평범한 사람들이 사회적, 정치적인 이슈들에 대해 일반적으로 토론할 수 있 는 장소를 만드는 것을 목표로 하고 있다.  


And also Hjalmar Jorge Joffre Eichhorn is an AHRDO founder and Bolivian-German theater activist who has developed acting-therapy programs in several countries. It is especially well suited for Afghanistan, which has a long tradition of oral expression. In addition, a theatrical venue offers a safe space for women to share stories that cultural stigmas, familial restrictions and the continuing conflict do not easily allow elsewhere. 


또한 흐잘마 조지 조퍼 익촌은 아프가니스탄 인권과 민주주의 단체의 창립자이며, 다양한 국가에서 연기치료 프로그램을 발전시키고 있는 볼리비안 절먼 극단의 활동가이다.  이 프 로그램은 특히 구강표현의 오랜 문화를 가진 아프가니스탄에 아주 적합하다. 뿐만 아니라 연극장소는 다른 곳에서도 쉽게 허용될 수 없는 여성들이 문화적 오명, 가정의 제한, 그리고 계속되는 갈등에 대해 이야기 나눌 수 있는 공간을 제공한다.

non-governmental, non partisan and non-profit organization working to promote human

rights and democracy through engaging a variety of arts oriented and culture-based initiatives. 


아프가니스탄 인권과 민주주의 단체 (AHRDO)는 독립된 민간단체이자 초당파적, 

그리고 예 술의 갖가지 기술과 문화계획을 촉진하는 비영리 단체이다.
