Way Forward for Global Development

2012 went and the prophesized end has not come. How should we move forward? Polylogues are framed thematically and will feature cross-disciplinary speakers from different regions.


Polylogue 1: Power of Knowledge

The internet has given us the technology to share knowledge. All we need is the mindset to give everyone equal access to the power of knowledge. Three cross-disciplinary innovators will share how they empower people to be more capable world citizens through the sharing of different forms of knowledge.

Polylogue 2: Good Life for All

While part of developed Asia is having a good share of dolce vita, can we make a better life accessible to all? Social innovators working on aspects of a good life will share how they bridge the gap between the have’s and have-not’s, and raise living standards by leveraging connectivity.


Polylogue 3: Rethinking Cities

Over the last two decades, the Asia-Pacific urban population has risen by 29%, more than any other region. While more and more Asians are living in cities, how can we make them more livable? Routing through technology, connectivity and philosophy, this session will rethink urban living and explore innovative approaches to better and smarter cities.

 

Polylogue 4: Change the Game

If you think "big" and "high" are definite qualifiers for "business" and "technology", think twice -- the choice is always yours. The last polylogue will be about game-changing perspectives. From small biz to low tech, speakers will talk about options in their respective fields, and share how ingenuity finds its way.

글로벌한 발전의 앞으로의 방향성에 대해서.

2012년이 지나고 그 때의 추측은 끝나지 않았다. 우리가 앞으로 어떻게 나가야 할까?
이야기 주제는 큰 주제별로 , 여러 분야에 걸치는 특징을. 잘 아는 이들이 각 지역에서 발표자로 온다. 


주제 1 : 지식의 힘.
인터넷은 우리에게 지식을 나눌수 있는 기술을 준다.
우리는 모두에게 동일하게 인터넷을 잘 사용하는 사고방식이 필요하다. 그것은 지식의 힘. 
3명의 모든 학문에 걸친 혁신자들은 그 것들을 이야기 해줄 수 있다. 
그들이 지식을 좀 더 잘 나누면 많은 사람들이 좀 더 유능한 세계시민이 될 수 있다. 
그들을 통해 다른 지식의 형식을 또 펼쳐나갈 수 있을 것이다.


주제 2 : 모두를 위한 좋은 삶.

발전을 하는 동안 아시아는, 좋은 근심걱정 없는 삶들을 보내고 있다.
우리는 모두에게 편한. 더 나은 삶으로 바꿔 나갈 수 있을까?
사회 혁신자들은 그들이 어떻게 가진자와 가지지 않은 자들 사이에서 공백을 채우는지,
그좋은 삶을 나눌 수 있는 측면에서 일하고 있다.
그리고 연결성을 활용함으로서 생기는 생활수준을 높인다.


주제 3 : 도시에 대해서 다시 생각해보다.

지난 20년 동안 아시아의 공식적인 도시 인구는 다른 어느 지역들을 재치고 29% 증가했다.
더 많은 아시안들은 도시에 살고 있지만, 우리는 어떻게 그들을 좀 더 사는 보람이 있게 만들 수 있을까?
기술을 통한 여정, 연결성과 철학, 이 단어들은 도시에 사는 것을 다시 생각해보고, 
더욱 똑똑한 도시로서의 혁신적인 접근 방식을 탐구해 볼 수 있다.

주제 4 : 게임을 바꾸다.

만약  "큰 것(Big)" 과 "높은 것(High)"은  우리가 사회에서의 예선 통과를 위해 필요한
"비즈니스(Business)"와 "기술(Technology)" 을 위해 쌓아가는 것들 이라고 생각한다면,
두번 생각해 보라 -- 선택은 언제나 당신의 것이다.
지난 주제는 게임을 바꾸는 것에 대한 것일 수도 있다.
우리가 필요한 관점은. 작은 산업에서 오는 낮은 기술이다. 
발표자들은 각  분야의 옵션에 대해 말을 할 것이며 
어떻게 독창성들이 방법을 찾아가는지 나눌 것이다.
