Although Signmark was born deaf into a world where music is for the hearing, he pursued his dream and became an international hip-hop artist. Signmark debuted and released the world’s first sign language hip-hop DVD in 2006. He feels that the society should not treat the deaf as handicapped people, but as a linguistic minority with their own culture, community, history and heritage.

As a child, he wanted his whole family to sing Christmas carols together, so his music career started by translating lyrics for his deaf parents. His album takes a stand for equality and aims to bring people together. It also introduces the deaf community's history, culture and rights.

수화는 청각 장애인이 세계의 음악을 듣기 위해 태어난 것이기도 하다. 그는 그의 꿈을 추구하며 국제적인 힙합 아티스트가 되려한다. 수화는  2006년 힙합 DVD에서 첫번째 사인 언어로 세계에 등장했다. 그는 사회가 청각장애인을 핸디캡으로 취급하는 것이 아니라 그들 소수의 언어를 문화, 커뮤니티, 역사 그리고 유산으로 여겨야 한다고 느낀다. 

그가 어렸을때는, 그는 그의 온 가족들과 함께 크리스마스 캐롤을 부르길 원했다. 그래서 그의 음악은 그의 청각장애가 있는 가족들을 위해 가사를 통역하는 것으로 시작되었다. 그의 앨범은 평등한, 사람들을 함께 하게 하기위한 목적을 가진다. 그것은 또한 청각장애인의 커뮤니티의 역사, 문화, 그리고 인권을 소개한다.

At age 15, using an old video camera, Pang created his first short film. Now, he is an internationally acclaimed script writer+director+producer and has a portfolio of award-winning movies including Shoot I Shoot, Men Suddenly In Black and Isabella. The Renaissance man in the film industry idolizes Martin Scorsese: “His greatest success comes from his constant self-challenge.” Pang does the same.
