I knew a little thing about what situation on Burma. The military government of 'Myanmar' oppressed people who require democracy with their authority. Actually, Their name of nation had been called, But 'SPDC(the military government.)' never respect people, and named their nation 'Myanmar', Even without agreements of their nation's people.

In south Korea, President and his political party decided almost policies even people never agreed with them. Now they control the media through the media law. People are blinded their eyes, ears and mouths with their authority.   

Democracy

I think we can explain about 'democracy'  through the president Lincoln's old saying, 'of the people, by the people, for the people', But is it true?

In Burma, SPDC staged a coup and dominated all authorities in 1958.

Many people required SPDC democracy through peaceful demonstrations, But SPDC opposed them violently, even they arrested monks.

there are some democratic armed groups. How do the government make people take guns? What is democracy to SPDC, Who democracy is for?

Aung san suu kyi said, 'It is ironic, I say, that in an authoritarian state it is only the prisoner of conscience who is genuinely free...' In Burma, Many People are opposing against the violent government in face of danger.
Some people hurted terribly and Some peole died. They are fighting hardly.
I think they feel pain. Then, Why didn't they give up? because they refuged to become 'the prisonr of conscience.' They decided to change those situation better, and protect themselves.
they are similar to that people who tried to guard their democracy and justice themselves In 1980, kwang-ju, Korea. Although, It was a sad tragedy that people of Kwang-ju were dead, But I hope Burma's people are blessed.

There are many problems of the policies of SPDC. all of them, The one of the most important is about monority ethnic groups.  Before SPDC decied to make a new name 'Miyanma' of nation without the permission of people, There were many kind of Ethnicity like  Palaung, Karen, Burmese, Shan...
But SPDC never resect their ethnicities, The name 'Miyanma' is meaning so.
I heard the people against authority of  SPDC are calling their nation, 'Burma'
Though each ethnic groups have their own ethnicities, they united to protest against SPDC. Especially the people of refugee camps.

What is Dignity? I think it is not given thing. You have to have your dignity, and protect from violence of outside.
Besides yourself, Anyone has to respect other's dignities. If you invade other's dignity, you also can't be respected. Burma's minority Ethnic groups don't want much, They just want normal life and each their ethnicities. Some people were notable to stand it, So they crossed the border between Burma and Thailand. and they live there where is called refugee camp.
