안녕하세요, 제 이름은 동녘입니다. 동쪽이라는 뜻의 이름이에요.18살이고요, 하자작업장학교의 공연팀에 있습니다.저는 기타를 다루고, 퍼커션도 조금 할 줄 알아요. 그리고 노래를 만들고, 불러요. 뮤지션으로 있으려고 하기 때문이지요. 우리 공연팀은 기본적으로는 브라질리언 퍼커션을 연주하면서 퍼커션 공연이나, 같이 부를 수 있는 노래와 춤을 나눕니다. 저는 꼭 뮤지션으로서만이 아니라, 문화적으로 우리가 참여하고, 다른 사람들과 함께 각자 할 수 있는 일을 모을 수 있는 일을 하고 싶습니다.

Hello, My name is Dongnyeok. means Eastern land. I'm 18 years old, and I'm in a music performance team of Haja production school. I play the guitar and percussion a bit. and make songs, sing it. Because I try to be a musician myself. Our music performance team basically play brazilian percussion, and perform sing and dance that everyone can do together. I want to work that we participate in culturally, and I want it is able to gather what each persons can do as not only a musician. 


저는 세상에서 일어나는 여러 문제와 이슈에 무감각해지지 않으려고 합니다. 

이주민, 기후변화, 노동자, 난민 문제 등 크게만 보이지만 그래도 좌절하지 않고 슬픔을 넘어서 혼자로 부족하다면, 여러 사람이 모이거나, 만날 수 있는 커다란 축제를 만드는 것이 제 꿈입니다.

어떻게 세상에 기여할 수 있을지, 그리고 어떻게 그 일을 좀 더 크게 만들지 생각해보며 음악가로서 삶을 만들어가고 싶습니다. 


I try to face and to be sensitive the issues and troubles in the world. Migrant, climate change, workers, refugee and so on, those troubles look only huge but with no frustration, If it is not enough with only me, I'll make others gather to participate in or make big festival that people can meet. It's my dream. I want to make my life as a musician and cultural worker thinking about how I'll contribute the world and make bigger and better my works.


(작년에 메솟에 온 적이 있었는데, 이번이 두번째 방문입니다.

작년 메솟 여행을 다녀오고 나서, 나는 내 주위가 마냥 평화롭지만은 않고 그 밖에는 또 다른 현실들이 있다는 것을 알게 되었습니다. 다른 현실을 인지하고 그것에 마음이 움직여서 그 일이 나와 관련이 있게 된다는 것 말입니다. 그래서 나는 이것이 '우리의' 일로서 받아들여질 수 있다고 생각하고, 때문에 내가 할 수 있는 일을 하고 여러분과 어떤 지점에서 서로의 이야기를 나눌 수 있고, 자극받고, 또 연결될 수 있는지 생각해보고 있습니다.)


I came Mae-sot last year, this time is second visiting. 

After first trip to Maesot, I could know there were another realities not only my peaceful around. Recognizing other realities, empathizing it and being connected with it.

So I think it can be accepted as Our situations, and So I'm doing what I can do and thinking which point I can talk with you, be inspired and be connecter with you.
