At age 15, using an old video camera, Pang created his first short film. Now, he is an internationally acclaimed script writer+director+producer and has a portfolio of award-winning movies including Shoot I Shoot, Men Suddenly In Black and Isabella. The Renaissance man in the film industry idolizes Martin Scorsese: “His greatest success comes from his constant self-challenge.” Pang does the same.

Cultural Identity in a Global Village

Needa works in the theatre but you do not just watch her perform. She invites the audience to be her collaborators and engages them in drama-prompted self-reflection. She is the founder of London's True Heart Theatre, which applies the form of “playback theatre” to serve the UK Chinese community. Working in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, the company addresses cross-cultural issues. She teachers Playback Theatre internationally and coordinates the School of Playback Theatre (UK).
