대안학교와 일반학교 사이에는 몇 가지 차이점이 있다.

하지만 그 차이점이 대안학교와 일반학교가 다른 곳에 있기 때문에 생기는 것은 아니다.

그것들은 같은 세상 속에 있지만 다른 시각을 갖고 있음으로 다른 교육방식을 지향한다.

대안학교는 일반학교처럼 모두의 같음과 같은 공부를 강요하지 않는다.

대안학교는 개개인이 다름을 인정하고, 개인의 자율적인 의지를 바탕으로 두고 학습한다.

그것은 자신의 길을 개척해 나갈 수 있게 도와준다.
