IT burma - ABITSU

ABITSU는 청소년 IT 교육의 중요성을 인지하고 교육에 힘쓰고 있는 단체이다.

오늘 날에는, 모두가 인터넷에는 국경도 없다고 생각하고 그렇기 때문에 전 세계인이 사용할 수 있는 자유로운 공간으로 인터넷이 꼽힌다. 그러나 burma의 군부독재정권은 모든 웹페이지를 관리하고 차단하기 때문에 같은 나라 안에 있는 사람이라도 수도권에서, 혹은 소수민족주에서 무슨 일들이 일어나는지 사실적인 정확한 정보를 얻기 힘들다.

위기를 해쳐나가기 위한 무언가를 하려면, 가장 먼저 자신들이 어떤 상황에 처해져 있는지 알아야 한다. 그렇기 때문에 이곳에서는 미래의 세대인 청소년들이 시공간을 넘어서 연대할 수 있도록 교육에 힘쓰고 있다.

ABITSU is a organization which recognizes importance of IT education for youth,

nowaday, everyone thinks there is no border in online network, So online network is the autonomous space. But In burma under the thread of the military junta 'SPDC', It isn't so. SPDC always keep watch on all the Internet pages, because they don't want people to protest against SPDC through network. therefore, for the people of Burma, even they are in same nation, they don't know exactly about what happened on their own nation. To do to solve the problem, to escape from a crisis, first of all, should know what situation I'm in. that's the reason why ABITSU is making a effort at Education for youth whom they can unite each others whenever, wherever they are.

LMTC-

LMTC is university school in Mae-la refugee camp. Almost/ All students of LMTC are Karen ethnicity. They learn english, 태국어 (배우던가?) and math, science etc.

All teachers are foreign volunteers. LMTC means, Leader ship M.... Training center. I asked them what they want to be, They answered me they will be leaders of the community. at that time, I had a question in my mind.

'What is their community which them said? Ethnicity? What is meaning of Leader to them?.' Probably It means workers who do what they can do at all direction (각방면). LMTC is temporary space, so when they graduate, They will want to go outside of the area. Almost students sail they will go back to their nation after graduation, there is also a student who want to work at the border area between thai and Burma. Mae-la camp has Resettlement Program, Through the program, Chosen some people of many people who applied resettlement can resettle to The third nations. some of LMTC students want to go to America (또 어디있더라 등등)... But It's up to them if they will go back to Burma someday, after resettlement.
