I've been living in Australia for 7 years. During that 7 years, I felt that Australia is a land which coexists nature and urban life well. There are many natural features such as trees, ground, beach everywhere in the town. The buildings were low, they don't all look square, high, gray and same from each other. There wasn't much traffic gem, neighbours greeted each other everyday, so over all, I felt no rush atmosphere in Australia.

I lived in the outer side of downtown area. It was a very comfortable place for me because not many cars passed by, constructions barely happened so it was very quite and the town was covered with green. (parks, plants, etc) Everything was fine, except I was bored since it took me 1hr 30min to get to the center of city for any entertainments including shopping center, cinema, school etc. In that way, I admired Seoul as [a place to entertain]. I always wanted to come to Korea during my holidays and spend my money on shopping in Dong-dae-moon.

In 2006, I settled back in Korea, and I felt tight due to :
1) entertainments on spending money, consumption culture
For the first few weeks, I really enjoyed my time in Korea.
* How do you entertain yourself in city?

2) rapidity culture of Korea.
Every shops and commercial advertisements mention "rapidity". We call delivery service as 'quick service'. Companies have to come up with lots of creative ideas to fasten their economic growth. Buyers prefer faster items. Roads get widen due to never-ending traffic gems. Once I was shocked by seeing an advertisement saying, "If Korea hadn't emphasized [quickly, quickly], we wouldn't have developed this far". Due to this rapidity phenomenon, I was also getting eaten by it. I get very stressed when something don't turn out as I have planned, even from a very small part. (e.g. when the internet gets very slow, or when my bus gets even 10 minutes delayed, I get so stressed)
* Do you also feel the rush atmosphere in your city? When?

3) artificial/human-made looks, construction and redevelopment
* What is the your image or definition of artificial/human-made looks?

Questions :
- Are you satisfied with your city? What is an ideal city of yours? (detailed aspects)
- Do you feel tight living in your city? When do you feel that?
