안녕하세요, 여러분. 하자센터에 오신 것을 환영합니다. 하자작업장학교에 오신 것을 환영합니다.
저는 하자작업장학교를 다니고 있는 리사라고 합니다. 만나서 반갑습니다.

Good afternoon everyone. Welcome to Haja Center. Welcome to Haja Production School.
My name is Lisa. I'm a student attending Haja Production School. It's a pleasure to meet you all. (인사 bow)

오늘 이 자리에 기후변화 관련 일을 하고 계시는 분들이 오신다고 들었습니다.
하자작업장학교에서는 지난 학기부터 기후변화를 주제로 프로젝트를 진행하기 시작했습니다. 그렇게 오래 된 건 아니지요.
그래서 우리는 한국에서의 기후변화적 사례들과 과학적 통계들을 줄줄이 외우거나, [기후변화를 어떻게 해결할 것인가?]라는 질문에 명쾌한 대답을 내릴 수 있는 사람들이 아닙니다.

I heard the people who concern about climate change are visiting Haja today.
In HPS, we have started projects on climate change from last semester. It's not very long ago.
So I have to ensure you that we are not the people who can explain every single cases and scientific data of climate change in Korea, nor have a clear answer for the question [how should we solve the climate change?]

하지만 각각의 학생들이 기후변화의 심각성을 직접 실감했던 순간이 있습니다.
여름이 아닌 데 벌써 에어컨을 틀지 않으면 견딜 수 없을 때
도시 속에서는 교통 체증과 끊임없는 공사현장의 모습만 보여질 때
내가 좋아하는 동물들이 점점 멸종위기에 처해지고 있다는 사실을 알았을 때
이러한 사소한 일상이 우리 개개인에게는 기후변화를 생각하게끔 한 동기가 되었습니다.

However I admit that each of us had a moment when we experienced the seriousness of the climate change.
When we couldn't bear the weather without the airconditioner even it's not in the middle of summer.
When we realize our favourite animals are disappearing.
When we can only witness the traffic gem and endless construction sites in the cities.
These were the moment when we started to think about the climate change.
Moment from our daily life motivated us to start to care about this climate change.

모두가 각자의 위치에서 기후변화시대에 실천할 수 있는 행동들을 하고 있는 분입니다.
오늘 이 자리에 모인 여러분들은 다른 지역에 살고 있지만, 기후변화시대에 살고 있는 청소년들입니다.
이 자리에서는 각자가 지구를 위해 실천하고 있는 action을 이야기하는 자리가 되었으면 합니다.

I bet, each person in this room are acting out what they can do from their position.
Today, many youth living in a different area, but all living in the climate change era, gathered in this place. 
And during this meeting, we'd like to talk about the actions each one are practicing for our global.

지금부터 각 기관마다 10분씩 기관소개를 하는 자리를 가질 겁니다.
(기관 이름) 총 5개의 기관이 발표를 할 예정입니다. 그 이후 하자작업장학교에서 진행했던 프로젝트들을 조금 더 자세히 설명을 하고 자연스러운 토론 시간을 갖도록 하겠습니다.

Now, we're going to have a introduction time. Each group will have 10 minutes introducing their institution.
There will be 0 groups presenting and their names are ~~~~~~
After the introduction HPS will present the specific preject we progressed on climate change.

그럼 첫 번째 순서로 하자작업장학교의 소개를 시작하겠습니다.

First, one of our student Toto will introduce HPS.

Thank you. I think we started up with a nice introduction.
Now our student 반야, 홍조, 어쓰 will present the project we started last semester called [living literacy]

That was a brief presentation on our project [living literacy]
To refresh your brain, I think we should have 10 minutes break.
After the break, we will start our discussion.
Please come back here by 5:~~.

We will start the discussion now. Before we start, I will introduce Uni to you. 
Uni is an architect and she helped us in our [living literacy] project. As we mentioned before, during our project [living literacy] we have focused on teenagers' life in urban. Uni co-ordinated this project, and also played a role of facilitator during the youth talk we did with the HK students. And she will again run this discussion.

이제 토론을 마치겠습니다. 동아시아를 넘어서 먼곳에서 방문한 youth들과 기후변화에 대해 이야기 해 볼 수 있는 좋은 기회였습니다.
처음 말했듯이, 우리가 이와 같은 화제를 가지고 공부를 한 기간은 짧습니다. 그렇지만 우리와 같은 youth들이 앞으로도 이에 대한 더 많은 관심과 실천을 지속할 수 있었으면 합니다. 모두 감사합니다.

We will finish our discussion now. It was a great opportunity to have a talke on climate change with the youth who has come from East Asia. As I mentioned before, we only just started studying about climate change recently. We hope many youth continue to care and act out. Thank you so much!!!!
