청소년을 위한 시민문화 워크숍글 수 603
My HPS I want to live well. I want to do what I want and I hope to make a living through it. Since I was nine years old, I grew up in community where the goal was "living well together" At that time I focused on myself as a member of the community. After spending 8 years in this community, I thought I had to connect with world directly. So I stepped out of this community to experience the world outside. And I came to HPS. I think HPS makes me aware of not only the community where we learn and meet, but of the world where we belong. If a community wants to avoid building a utopia just for themselves, they need to be aware of the world. In HPS We talked about how it is important reading the things which are happening in the world, through the living literacy project. Also, through a project called "civil culture workshop", I came to realize that I'm not only a member of the community but a part of the society. Now I dream of a community that includes the people who we live together in the word ‘together ’ when they say "let's live well together". HPS is the place where we talk about living through what we want to do while not forgetting that we are a participant of the society. I'm in the video team in my school. I'm a person who like to observe things. So I joined the video team. In the process of observing, I have been recording through the camera. Camera is a tool which explains what I saw, what I want to talk about. Now, when I think about my work, I want it to not only remain as recordings but become my language. I want to do what I want, and make a living through it. Also I want it to contribute to this world. I don't want to live well alone but live well together. If I want to live well, I'll do what I want to do. But If I want to live well together, I have to be aware of the world. Therefore, I am learning the sensitivity and attitude for reading the world in HPS. |
